It’s not a GARDEN RAILROAD until it’s planted with plants from this great list of specially-selected varieties, which are slow-growing, low, small in size, tiny-leaved, or compact. They will fit into your layout, but will not overwhelm it. Many of these plants can be pruned and trained to resemble scale trees and shrubs to create just the right look you want.
We have our own garden railroad, so we know what plants work and which ones don’t. If you aren’t sure, ask and we’ll try to help. Most of the plants are in 4” pots and are well-established when you receive them and are ready for your garden. They are easy to plant and maintain and can be planted anytime through the summer and early fall.
